Refusals

While refusal of an application to visit, or remain in Canada can seem daunting, Veall Immigration Law can review your failed application and circumstances to explore your options and next steps. Immigration refusal issues can often be addressed by appealing these for reconsideration, or by preparing a subsequent application which responds to the previous refusal and fully establishes why you meet all legal requirements.

Decisions by immigration officials can also be addressed through a legal challenge at either the Federal Court of Canada, or at the Immigration and Refugee Board (IRB). As the timeframe for submitting applications to appeal or review an application is quite narrow, please contact us as soon as you are notified of a decision, so that we may assure that full recourse to the law is available to you.
