Citizenship
To be eligible for Canadian citizenship, application requirements include that:
You must be a permanent resident.
You have lived in Canada for 3 out of the last 5 years.
You have filed income tax for at least 3 years during the 5 years directly before making your application (where required).
If you are between the ages of 18 to 54, you meet the required Canadian Language Benchmark (CLB) level for English or French.
If you are between the ages of 18 to 54, you shall pass a test on your rights, responsibilities and knowledge of Canada.
